The Gumballers and crew have safely returned from their trip to Antartica. Alot happened on the trip so stay tuned for a full report on the trip! We can however show you the first pics from the cold!

Word just got in that this saturday (Feb. 2nd) Gumballers are headed off to Antartica! It’s a landscape unlike anywhere else on the planet, so rarely visited, yet beautiful and mysterious. Gumball 3000 is the only company in the World to offer this, it will be one of the first ever tourist trip to the center of the Antarctic and only 12 Gumballers have the chance to take part. It is a two week adventure which will encompass everything from kite skiing to ice climbing on mountains never touched by man. An expert staff who have skied over 16,000kms in the Polar Regions will look after their every step taken throughout the 10 days. This will be an all inclusive trip encompassing everything from the moment they touch down in Cape Town, South Africa to their return to CapeTown.
A private jet will touch down on the blue ice runway and the Gumballers will be staying on one of the most remote camps on earth. Once they are at our luxury camp in Antarctica, we have an award winning chef who will prepare their meals everyday. They can do as little or as much as they would like, but with the whole Antarctic as their playground, the chance to go exploring, skidooing, skiing, climbing, abseiling, and kite skiing to name just a few and this should keep them busy.
Stay tuned for updates!

With the tenth anniversary rally coming up in August Gumball 3000 and Fastcar magazine are getting the party started early this year with the upcoming Januari issue of Fastcar magazine in which they will treat you with a Gumball 10th anniversary special.
This package contains a whole host of Gumball freebees and exclusive exclusive editorial content, with a free officially licensed sweatband and Gumball sticker, a full rally history, a 2008 preview and a competition to ‘Win the Gumball Lifestyle’ including a Co-pilot Sat Nav and much more.
Fast Car’s editor Steve Chalmers says “We’ve rightly gone Gumball mad in March’s issue, and dedicated whole sections to the World’s wildest Most Glamorous road rally.”
Steve added, “There’s a full Gumball history, an exclusive 2008 rally map, a competition, a supercar bonus section, and even an interview with Gumball veteran Dan ‘Dirty Sanchez’Joyce. Not to mention the free sweatband and sticker…”

The tenth anniversary Gumball Rally will see the return of some former Gumballers some like to remain unknown till the last bit and some give out the information as they enter the Rally. For next year on the starting grid we will see the return of 2007 Gumball virgins Team Tiger from Sweden who will soon receive the status of veteran trust me. The car they will be driving is unknown at this time because their Lamborghini was recently sold. Who also is returning to the grid next year is Richie Warren with his Team Fuel and the Fuel Girls ofcourse like we all know the Mansory Bentley isn’t showing up next year either. Then there is always the speculation of who will enter again my guess on who to expect after the jump.

With the upcoming holiday season i would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Best, Jay

A couple of weeks ago i got this movie sent to me by anonymous sender, after seeing the movie it was totally clear who made the movie but i could’nt find out imediately where it came with because it is French spoken and as far as i know Richie and the guys speak perfectly good english! So after some digging i found out that i came as a bonus dvd with ADDX magazine! Following the late burst of Gumball movies this one is one of the better (even when its French spoken and narrated!) Well as an addition i must add that some footage was taken from the same car as i went to amsterdam with from london!

In this third short movie taken from the Fast Car Magazine Gumball DVD Gumball diaries, It’s time for the guys in the famous GUMBALL plated BMW M6 to show their stuff. The guys aren’t new to the game as being Gumball veterans. From all the vids that came with the free DVD i must say this is the best one, ofcourse i did like the other ones aswell but the stuff from 2006 was fun to watch but nothing new after seeing the extreme channel episodes aswell as 3000 miles.

This interview with Maximillion Cooper the founder of the Gumball 3000 is taken from the Fast Car Magazine bonus dvd: Gumball diaries. It is one of the better interviews in my opinion. Max telss us about where the Gumball 3000 is coming from and also where the event is is going in the near future.

After having run the most rallies and endurances with the proven reliability and famous BMW M5 or known as 144A (there are also the 144C, the 144D, the 144E, 144F, the 144G) today Alex Roy reveiled the new Team Polizei Intercepter the 144B! It is an identical twin to the 144A: A 2000 BMW E39 M5 it only has a few minor differences.I am glad the waiting is over and the word is out, however i cant seem to wait to see the interceptor on the road. Alex is currently doing his “The Driver” book tour which is taking him through the United States and is taking the 144B for it’s first real test drive. Alex’ stsement and original article after the jump.
